About the Natasha Bakranich All Girls Carnival

In 2021 Huntingdale Teeball club inaugurated an All Girls Carnival. We created this event in response to seeing a decline in female participation from around the age of 10, at the time when the game starts to become dominated by male players. We wanted to encourage girls to remain in the sport by having an event just for them, where they have the opportunity to play with other girls their own age, celebrate their skills and abilities and most importantly have fun! We hoped to fosters passion for the sport and show them the pathways and opportunities available to them throughout their childhood and beyond.

Our first carnival in 2021 was incredibly successful with eleven teams joining us from across the metropolitan area. We received excellent feedback from all involved which motivated us to improve and grow moving forward.

In 2022 we had 235 participating girls, approximately 22 teams, join us from all over the Perth metro area from Wanneroo Joondalup, down to Secret Harbour and all areas in between.

In 2024 we had 298 participating girls, approximately 25 teams from 19 clubs, join us from all over the Perth metro area from Wanneroo Joondalup, down to Secret Harbour and all areas in between.
